Awesome party game ideas for your perfect party
Thinking of playing cards with some friends? Here are some great Party Game Ideas
Hosting a party is a great way to get together with your friends and enjoy an evening of your favorite card games.
These ideas can also be used for birthday party games, or Christmas party games. Here are some general guidelines to host a card party. Things you’ll need: • Invite your friends • Playing cards • Card game rules • Decorations • Tables • Refreshments
Stage 1 Contact your friends. Invite your friends to the card party by calling, email or texting them, and make sure they confirm or deny the invite so you know how many people are coming.
Stage 2 To make sure it is an unforgettable night, acquire prizes. People love to receive prizes when they win. They don't have to cost much, maybe a new deck of cards or you can print off rules to new card games.Stage 3 Choose which games you want to play. There are a lot of card games to choose from, but you should limit it to maybe 2 or 3. Ensure that the card games you pick are games that everybody knows, or can easily learn, and that they are the right length of time for your party. If you decide that you only want to play one game, do it in a tournament method to make it last the night. Here are some party game ideas:
- KEMPS - A fun signal passing card game.
- Kings and Serfs - try to get rid of your cards and move yourself into the head chair.
- Nerts - A solitaire type game played with multiple people and decks of cards.
- Grab a Pig - Invented by Colin Wiffen and his family in Norfolk, England, Grab a Pig is a fantastic card game that is great for a wild party game or a fun family game.
- Spoons - a fast paced card game that is great for large groups.
Stage 4 Make sure you have the rules accessible for the games you want to play. If you have these handy, it will keep everyone from debating about the rules. You can download the rules for the card games online and print them off or buy a book of card game rules and make copies of the games you want to play. Stage 5 Set up your tables with enough space to move around them. Make sure that there is enough room on the tables for people to put their drinks on or something close by for them to put things on that they might need. Stage 6 Don’t forget to decorate for the party because no party is perfect without some decorations. You should be able to find card decorations at party stores and online. If you don't have the money to waste on more decks of cards, you can make decorations using decks of cards that are not complete decks. You can use them as centerpieces, or garland or even as place cards with your guests' names. Stage 7 If you have beverages at your party it will certainly please the crowd. You can request that guests bring their own snacks and drinks, or you can provide them yourself. For instance: peanuts and pretzels are a good chose on a limited budget.

Here are a few party game ideas if you really want to decorate for that special party. If you have decks of cards that are not a full deck, you can place them on the table top and cover them. If you want them to be permanent, use polyurethane, if you want to remove them after the party, use a clear table cloth and after the party you can gather them up and save them until the next party. You could even polyurethane the cards to the backs of chairs. These are great party game ideas that are just a little different and your guests will love it. You can make stand up cards for center pieces. Cut a small slits in the bottom of the card about ½ inch from either side and using a piece of paper the length of the card and about ½ inch in height, place it in the slits on the card to make a stand. You can use a string and weave it through the top and bottom of cards to make a long hanging row of cards and hang it from the ceiling.
