I Doubt It Rules
A fun game for All ages. I Doubt It can be played with 3 or more people using a standard deck of cardsObject of I Doubt It The first person to run out of cards wins.
Rank of Cards Cards do not have value but they are played in order from A first, and then 2s, then 3s, etc. Determining the Dealer All persons draw from a shuffled deck spread face down on the table. The person that gets the highest card gets to deal first. The Deal The dealer gives 2 or 3 cards at the same time to each person beginning at their left. On the final cycle of dealing, the cards will be dealt out one at a time until there are no cards left. Playing the Game The person to the dealer's left puts 1 to 4 cards, on the table face down. As they put them on the table, that person says they are going to put down however many A’s they want. For example, that person says, "Three A’s”, and lays the cards on the table. However, the cards do not have to be aces; the person doesn’t have to be truthful! Any person can say "I doubt it," wherein the cards have to be turned over. If the person does have 3 A’s, the person that doubted them has to take those 3 cards and any other cards in play that are laying on the table, into his hand. However, if there were not 3 A’s, the person who lied has to take the cards off the table and put them in his hand. If 2 or more people have doubts, the person who said it first is the doubter. If 2 people doubt it at the same time, the person closest to the person's left is the doubter. When a statement is not doubted, the cards stay face down in front of the person until someone is forced to add them to their hand. After the first person’s statement is either doubted or not, the person to his left has to put down 1 to 4 cards and say that they are placing that many 2’s. Then, the person to their left has to put down and say that they are placing so many 3’s, and so forth around the table. When a person has stated K’s, the next person starts with A’s again. When 2 decks are used, a person has to put down as many cards as they want from 1 to 8. The rule is that a person is allowed to put down all the cards of that group if he holds them: 4 of a kind with 1 deck or 8 of a kind with 2 decks. It is fair to make false announcements. For instance: When someone plays 7’s, saying "No sevens”, it is a typical part of the game, even if that person has 1 or more 7’s. The Game When someone puts their last card down and is either doubted or not, and they have shown to correct, they win the game.
