Go Boom Rules
An exciting game for children 8 years and up.
Virtually any number of people can play Go Boom, using a standard deck of cards. The Pack. Up to 6 players use a single deck. 7 players or more should use a double deck.
Rank of Cards. The Ace is the highest rank down to the 2 which is the lowest. The Dealer. To decide the dealer, lay all the cards face down on the table and everyone picks a card. The person with the lowest card deals and the person on their right will cut the deck. The Deal. The dealer gives 7 cards to each player, starting with the player to the left. The rest of the deck is placed on the table, face down, to form the stock. The Goal of Go Boom. Be first person to get rid of all your cards. The Play. The person to the dealers left starts the game and can play any card they chose. Each person must follow the card led by either suit or rank. Example: if the queen of hearts is played, each player has to play a heart or a queen. If a player can’t follow suit or rank, he must keep drawing cards until he can play. When the stock is gone and the person can’t play, they skip their turn. The highest card of the suit led wins the trick and leads the next round. If two decks are used, and cards of the same rank are played, the person who played the trick first wins and leads the next round. Scoring. The first person to discard all their cards wins. The winner assembles from each player the value of the cards still in that person's hand. Aces are 1 point each, face cards are 10 points, and the rest of the cards their face value. Game. The game continues until someone scores 200 points.
