Egyptian Rat Rules

The Coolest game for children to play.

Egyptian Rat can be played with 2 to 4 players
using a standard deck of cards

Goal:
Acquire all the cards.

The Deal:
Every participant receives the same amount of the pack, every card will be dealt out (ensure no jokers will be in the deck). Cards need to stay facing downwards within a stack for the participant to pull from.

The Play:
The initial participant will take the top card off their facing downwards stack and put it facing upwards in the center of the table (the goal will be for nobody to view the card before your hand will be clear of it, which includes you). Next every participant follows in a counter-clockwise routine.

To Win:
As mentioned, the goal will be to obtain every one of the cards. Generally there will be a few methods to accomplish this. We will begin with the 1st:

Doubles:
If two players consecutively perform the identical card, all participants can "slap" for this, which means whoever's hand is over the doubles once the hands stop slapping will get to receive them.

Example: 2 Q's are played consecutively by participant one and two but participant three slaps the doubles and also accumulates the entire stack.

Face Cards:
Once you set down a face card, the following participant will have a few opportunities to place an additional face card or anyone who set down the final face card will win the stack. The amount of opportunities depend on the face card:

J - one opportunity

Q - two opportunities

K - 3 opportunities

A - four opportunities

Example: Participant two plays a K.. Participant three sets down a two after which a Q, therefore Participant four presently has two opportunities to obtain a face card or participant three receives the stack.
