For Instance:
Making Fifteen: If you are holding 4, 5, 5, 6, and 9, there are three arrangement of cards that will equal fifteen. 4 plus 5 plus 6=15: 4 plus the other 5 plus 6=15: and 6 plus 9=15. Therefore, this hand will equal 6 points of fifteens. Making Runs: With the same hand of: 4, 5, 5, 6, 9 there will be two arrangement of runs: 4, 5, 6 which equals 3 points and 4, the other 5, and 6 which will equal and additional 3 points. Therefore: 4, 5, 5, 6, 9 is warrant 6 points for the 2 fifteens +, 6 points for the runs +, since there is a pair of 5’s, they are worth 2 additional points for a total of 14 points. Another example is: 9, 10, J, J, Q would be worth 10 points because 9, 10, J, Q will equal 4 points. 9, 10, the other Jack, + Q will equal 4 more points, and the 2 Jacks is an additional 2 points. This hand would be worth 1 more point if one of these Jacks is the same suit as the Starter, which is known as “His Nobs”. All the scores from the 8 hands are then totaled together to reach the final score. Notes about the game Cribbage Square is 1 of the greatest Solitaire games ever played.
