A fun poker game for adults to play. Baccarat rules are listed below and can be played with 2 to 14 players using 8 standard decks of cards
Overview Baccarat is a high stakes game, which is usually in an exclusive alcove, where it is separate from the traffic of people wondering around and from everything else going on in the casino. In addition, in casinos in the US, Baccarat has a tendency to be played for cash - there is a lot of hundred dollar bills spread around. On the other hand, European casinos play with chips, but the high valued chips are rectangle plaques, that can make this game look as thrilling as the American form when they are piled before someone that is winning. Baccarat Rules
The Pack. The 8 standard decks are shuffled as one and dealt by the dealer (usually known as the croupier) from a dealing container, otherwise known as a shoe, which discharges 1 card at a time, facing downward. Sometimes only 6 decks are used. The Layout. The extremely huge Baccarat table has fourteen places to sit, 7 to the left of the dealer of the dealer and 7 to the right of the dealer, who merely sets the game play and doesn’t participate otherwise. The picture below shows the layout with the number 13 seat removed, because of the superstition that surrounds the number. The table is covered in green felt, which are marked with numbers from 1 to 15. The players keep their money in the numbered sections. A person can bet on either the Player or the Bank, and the layout designates place of the bets. Baccarat is recognized in some places as Punto Banco. The alteration is the word Bank which is changed to Banco, and Player is changed to Punto. In a lot of casino games, the dealer is usually standing, but in Baccarat, the dealer sits amid the first and last players.
